Hey everybody, my name is Rebecca! I am in my third year of college and my second year as a Communication Design student. I'm really interested in advertising and hope to become a creative director at an ad agency in the future. Currently my favorite campaign is the, "It's not Complicated," series from AT&T by BBDO, which you can read about here.

For the type related portion of this post I'm going to post a kinetic typography video of Lt Aldo Raine's speech in Inglorious Bastards. Because I think kinetic type is awesome and this video is awesome.

I'm Maggie and this'll be my 4th year at Texas State studying ComDes. Fun fact: I'm the 8th of 9 children and also the 5th one in my family to come to school here.

Beavers-Introductions

Hey, I am Austin a Photography & Comm Design at Texas State University. During Spring semester 2013 I worked on a project for the festival Ham Days, I wanted to keep to the original county fair style poster (ham days). While, I am not in school i'll either have a camera, computer mouse, or disc in my hand. Playing Disc golf is my way of relaxing and getting some sun. Heres a link to the Professional Disc Golf Association theres some great resources for getting to know the game.

Voll- Introductions

Hey ya'll,
My name is Tara, this year will be my 6th year in college and last year before I graduate :) Something I'm interested in and aspire to be as good as someday is Nikko Hurtado's tattoo portraits. They're so incredible, and he does a lot of standard to fish eye portraits with high contrast color.. which is one of my favorite looks and am working to have more diverse work.

I don't have a link to any of my own work at the moments, so here is a link to David Carson's piece, 'Trek'. I find it also very inspiring, and something to reach to.

I'll go first.

Hey, I'm Rose, this is my 7th year teaching at Texas State. Something interesting about myself. I've been to 4 Disney Parks around the world... Disneyland, DisneyWorld, DisneylandParis and most recently DisneylandTokyo (Disney Parks wiki). I really don't LOVE Disney or anything. It's part of some design research I've begun with a colleague from Arkansas State about American Design in other countries.
