Schroeder - Title Roughs
Concept: Concept art from Marvels The Avengers. (possibly original images of characters for comparison)
I haven't quite made it to computer roughs because I've been working on the font.. but I've started scanning things in.
My title is going to transform from gridded out to full finished black (a play on the rendered to reel theme) which still needs to be worked on.
I've also been having trouble with the title.. Right now it's "Strips: Rendered to Reel," which works, but it's bothering me that The Avengers aren't really a "strip".. but I just had the idea today of "Silver Age to Silver Screen," as The Avengers comic #1 came out in 1963, right in the middle of the Silver Age comics period (1956-1970).
If there's any input on other interpretations of that concept, it would be much appreciated.
Hruzek:Roughs
So I'm still experimenting with the blender pen and transferring it but the second one here is my favorite so far. And I was thinking of placing it either in the bottom of the printout vertically or in the corner if it is horizontal.

I am still experimenting with the color palette to get the colors JUST right, but I personally really like the first/second one and the second last one. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Smith- Digital Roughs
Favorite so far.
Since the images are so dark and creepy looking I have decided to go with a less intimidating look for my type.
The second typeface I made the serifs to give the hint of a bone-like look.

Kenzie Moss - Titling Roughs
On Tuesday, I set up a table and had people do fast drawings and a few did the titling. Here's what I have so far. I'm liking the third one mainly because it has "fuck you" really tiny in the corner and I like it, I like it a lot. It's got spunk.
