Hello Halftones will be the newest exhibition at the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston. The show is centered around the halftones, those tiny dots that were originally created for the print publication industry but have become so much more. Today, halftones are used in fine art, posters, and magazines not only for their usefulness, but for their beauty. Halftones have become more than the image that they create, they have become art themselves. This exhibit will cover the short history of the halftone image, its usage in the pop art movement, and it's many uses today. The show opening event will be Friday, May 10th, 2013 at 7:00pm on the dot.
