Creative Brief
The proposed exhibit is of Jason Reed’s photo work, which depicts the
relationship between people and the land in West Texas. The work will be
displayed in the Blanton Museum in Austin, for an audience of professionals in
their mid 20’s to late 30’s. The intent of exhibition is to display how west Texas inhabitants have created smaller communities/dwellings within the larger context of the land.

Board Analysis:
The color palettes and typography are intend to compliment the photos without distracting from the subject. Neutral tone typefaces will be used in conjunction with color palettes derived from the photographs(as well as the cultures present within West Texas). In this scenario, the colors and typefaces should be devoid of most emotion, in keeping with the documentarian style seen in
Jason’s work.
