Voll: Brief and Board

 Creative Brief: The contents of this installation are reoccurring, nostalgic, non-electronic toys that originated in the 1960 and 70's but continued to be popular for kids through the 90's. This Installation could be seen in children's museums and also as it's own space in malls. The intended audience would be anyone born between the 1960 and 90's, who would find a personal connection/ distinct memories of toys they played with as children. This exhibit is supposed to evoke nostalgia and happiness.

Imagery: The images from this installation are going to be bright colored, medium cropped photo's. (see hacky-sack and troll doll images to the left). The photo's will be vivid, so that the images of the items are as the viewer would remember them looking like when they first interacted with them, and not as old memorabilia

Color Palette: 

Color palette is based off the bright colors of some of the popular toy items from those decades.

Typography: These are fonts and title idea's I have for the catalog. All these fonts were popular in the 70's and 80's, however I will probably go with the forth font (Chalet) as different versions of it were popular through all the 60's, 70's, and 80's.

I want the colors and fonts to place the viewer back in time, the installation will be very sentimental to hopefully most of the viewers.
